View Print History
Every print job lands in Print history — with its rendered files, its exact label list, and everything you need to print it again. This guide explains the statuses, search, and how reprints work.
The history list
Section titled “The history list”Go to Print history. Each row shows:
- Job name — the transfer name, order number, or file name it came from, plus the template used
- Label count
- Status — see the table below
- Created date (and printed date, when it was printed)
The list shows jobs from the last 30 days (the 100 most recent). Use Search (transfer, order, or file name) to find a specific job.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ready | Labels prepared — not printed yet |
| Rendering | PDF is being generated right now; you can still cancel |
| Printed | PDF was rendered and opened/downloaded |
| Failed | Rendering failed — open the job to see why and retry |
| Canceled | You stopped it mid-render |
| Expired | Older than 30 days — the rendered file is gone, but the job can still be reprinted |
Open a job
Section titled “Open a job”Click a row to open the job detail page:
- Labels in this job — every variant with its barcode and per-line counts
- Action buttons — Print, Reprint, file downloads, ZPL export
- Free checks — calibration sheet and test render, always quota-free
Reprint a job
Section titled “Reprint a job”- Open the job in Print history (or use the Reprint button directly on the row).
- The app re-renders the PDF from the job’s saved snapshot — the exact template and label data it was created with, even if you edited the template since. Start position works here too for partially used sheets.
Jobs that are still pending
Section titled “Jobs that are still pending”Jobs created from transfers update automatically as more stock arrives. If a job has labels left to print, it stays Ready — and the Home “Stock arrived” banner points you back to it.
