Enable App Embed

Before pre-order badges, buttons, and delivery messages can appear on your Shopify store, you need to enable the Qivra PreOrder app embed in your theme. This is a one-time setup that activates the pre-order functionality on your storefront.

An app embed is a Shopify feature that allows apps to add functionality to your theme without modifying theme code. Enabling the Qivra PreOrder app embed:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin
  2. Navigate to Online Store > Themes
  3. Click Customize on your active theme
  1. In the Theme Editor sidebar, click the gear icon (Theme settings)

  2. Select App embeds

    Or:

    • Click the (three dots) menu at the top
    • Select App embeds from the dropdown
  1. Scroll through the list of app embeds
  2. Find Qivra PreOrder
  3. Toggle the switch to On enable pre-order app embed
  1. Click Save in the top right corner
  2. Wait for the theme to update
  3. The app embed is now active

After enabling, you should see:

  1. Go to any page in Theme Editor
  2. Click Add section or Add block
  3. Look under the Apps category
  4. Qivra PreOrder blocks should appear as available options
  1. Visit your store
  2. Open browser DevTools (F12)
  3. Check the Network or Console tabs
  4. Look for Qivra PreOrder scripts loading

Once the app embed is active, you can:

  1. Customize badge and button appearance in the display settings
  2. Configure delivery messages for customer expectations
  3. Set up pre-order offers for specific products or collections
  4. Apply pre-order to product pages and collection pages
