Find answers to common questions about Qivra PreOrder.

  1. Open Qivra PreOrder from your Shopify admin
  2. Click Create Offer
  3. Name your campaign
  4. Choose payment type (full, deposit, combined, or pay-nothing)
  5. Add products and variants
  6. Click Activate

How do I display pre-order badges on my store?

  1. Open Shopify Theme Editor
  2. Enable the Qivra PreOrder app embed
  3. Customize badge and button settings in the app
  4. Save changes

When using deposit or pay-nothing, the remaining balance can be captured:

  • On fulfillment: Automatically when you ship the order
  • After X days: A set number of days after checkout
  • At exact time: On a specific date and time

Yes. You can set percentage or fixed-amount discounts on any payment type. Discounts are applied at checkout through Shopify Selling Plans.

You can also enable Auto-disable when back in stock to automatically pause pre-orders when inventory is replenished.

If a product is already in an active offer, you will see a conflict warning. A product/variant can only be in one active offer at a time.

You can set three types of limits:

  • Campaign total: Maximum total units sold across all customers
  • Per customer: Maximum units per individual customer
  • Per order: Maximum units per single order

Leave empty for unlimited.

The pre-order badge and button are removed from the storefront. Existing orders are not affected.

  1. Go to Orders in the sidebar
  2. View all pre-order orders with filters
  3. Filter by status, date, or financial status
  4. Click to view details

Yes. You can cancel individual orders or use bulk cancel for multiple orders at once. Canceling in the app also cancels the corresponding Shopify order.

  • Full payment: Charged immediately at checkout
  • Deposit: Deposit charged at checkout, remaining balance captured based on your trigger settings
  • Authorization only: No charge until you manually capture or the trigger fires
  1. When a product is out of stock, customers see a “Notify Me” button
  2. Customers enter their email to subscribe
  3. When inventory is restocked, subscribers receive an email notification
  4. Subscribers can then purchase the product

This feature is available on the Premium plan.

Can customers unsubscribe from notifications?

Yes. Customers can unsubscribe from the notification email. Once notified, they will not receive duplicate alerts.

Yes. Cancel from the Shopify billing page. Access continues until the current billing period ends.

Yes! Annual billing saves approximately 20% compared to monthly billing.

Qivra PreOrder works with:

The app automatically detects your theme and selects the appropriate selectors.

Can I customize the badge and button styling?

Yes. In Display Settings, you can customize:

  • Badge text, background color, text color
  • Button text, background color, text color, border radius, font size
  • Delivery message text

How does the app integrate with Shopify checkout?

Qivra PreOrder uses Shopify Selling Plans, which integrate natively with Shopify checkout. Customers see pre-order options directly in the checkout flow, and all payment processing is handled by Shopify.
