Set Up Slack Notifications
Connect Qivra PreOrder with Slack to receive instant notifications about pre-order activity.
Note: Slack integration requires the Premium plan.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Slack workspace with permission to create incoming webhooks
- Qivra PreOrder Premium plan
Creating a Slack Webhook
Section titled “Creating a Slack Webhook”Step 1: Create a Slack App
Section titled “Step 1: Create a Slack App”- Go to Slack API
- Click Create New App > From scratch
- Name your app (e.g., “Qivra PreOrder”)
- Select your workspace
Step 2: Enable Incoming Webhooks
Section titled “Step 2: Enable Incoming Webhooks”- In your app settings, go to Incoming Webhooks
- Toggle Activate Incoming Webhooks to On
- Click Add New Webhook to Workspace
- Select the channel where you want notifications
- Copy the webhook URL
Setting Up the Integration
Section titled “Setting Up the Integration”Step 1: Open Settings
Section titled “Step 1: Open Settings”- Open Qivra PreOrder from your Shopify admin
- Go to Settings > Integrations
Step 2: Select Slack
Section titled “Step 2: Select Slack”Click on the Slack integration card from the providers list.
Step 3: Enter Webhook URL
Section titled “Step 3: Enter Webhook URL”Paste the Slack webhook URL.
Step 4: Test Connection
Section titled “Step 4: Test Connection”Click Test to send a test notification to your Slack channel. You should see a test message in the selected channel.
Step 5: Save
Section titled “Step 5: Save”Click Save to activate the integration.
Notification Types
Section titled “Notification Types”Slack notifications are sent for:

| New pre-order | Customer places a pre-order |
| Payment captured | Remaining balance successfully captured |
| Capture failed | Remaining balance capture failed |
| Offer auto-disabled | Offer automatically paused (e.g., back in stock) |
| Order cancelled | Pre-order order was cancelled |
| Authorization expiring | Payment authorization about to expire |
