Set Up Mailchimp
Connect Qivra PreOrder with Mailchimp to automatically sync pre-order customers to your email lists.
Note: Mailchimp integration requires the Premium plan.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Mailchimp account
- A Mailchimp API key
- Qivra PreOrder Premium plan
Getting Your Mailchimp API Key
Section titled “Getting Your Mailchimp API Key”- Log in to your Mailchimp account
- Go to Profile > Extras > API keys
- Click Create A Key
- Copy the API key
Setting Up the Integration
Section titled “Setting Up the Integration”Step 1: Open Settings
Section titled “Step 1: Open Settings”- Open Qivra PreOrder from your Shopify admin
- Go to Settings > Integrations
Step 2: Select Mailchimp
Section titled “Step 2: Select Mailchimp”Click on the Mailchimp integration card from the providers list.
Step 3: Enter API Key
Section titled “Step 3: Enter API Key”Paste your Mailchimp API key and save.
Step 4: Map Fields
Section titled “Step 4: Map Fields”Map pre-order data fields to Mailchimp merge fields:
- Email: Customer email address
- First Name: Customer first name
- Last Name: Customer last name
- Product: Pre-ordered product name
You can use Mailchimp’s merge fields to segment pre-order customers for targeted campaigns.
Step 5: Save
Section titled “Step 5: Save”Click Save to activate the integration.
What Gets Synced
Section titled “What Gets Synced”When a customer places a pre-order:
- Customer email and mapped fields are sent to Mailchimp
- Data is added to your selected Mailchimp audience
- You can use this data for targeted email campaigns
