Print on a Partially Used Sheet

Peeling labels off a sheet as you need them leaves partly used sheets. Printing again from cell 1 would waste every remaining empty cell — this app lets you start exactly where the used labels end.

On the job detail page, the Start position (partially used sheet) card shows a numbered grid matching your sheet preset (e.g. cells 1–30 for Avery 5160):

  1. Tap the first unused cell of the sheet you’re about to load — e.g. cell 13 if labels 1–12 are gone.
  2. Print as usual. The first page of the PDF leaves cells before your choice empty and starts laying labels from the selected cell; later pages are filled from their first cell.

The app remembers your start position per sheet type — print 30-up now, and your 80-up sheets keep their own position next time. Use Start from cell 1 to reset.

  1. Open the job (from Print history, or right after creating it).
  2. Find the Start position (partially used sheet) card.
  3. Tap a cell; the Sheets needed count updates to account for the skipped cells.

Notes:

  • The card only appears for sheet presets — rolls (Dymo, Zebra) print one label per page and never need a start position.
  • The skipped cells are left completely empty — no borders or marks print on them.

The Sheets needed card shows how many label sheets the current print run uses, including the partially filled first sheet. It updates live when you change the start position — handy to check you have enough sheets before printing.
