Translations

If your store sells in more than one language, the Translations page translates every customer-facing text in the app — storefront widgets, payment plan names, and emails — so each shopper sees and receives them in their own language.

The page is organized into three tabs, each covering one part of the app:

TabSectionsWhat’s in them
Back in stockWidget texts, restock emailsNotify Me button per page (product, collection, home), popup title/description/placeholder/subscribe button, confirmation toast, plus the restock email (subject, body, buttons, footer)
WaitlistWidget texts, availability emailsWaitlist button and popup texts, plus the availability notification email
Pre-orderStorefront texts, offer payment plans, customer emailsBadges (PDP, card, save badges), buttons, delivery messages, payment option headings, plus the name and description of every payment plan in every offer, plus confirmation and delivery-delay emails

Translations exist per shop language. If your shop only has one language, the page tells you so — add more in Shopify Settings → Languages (there’s a direct link on the page), then come back and click Refresh languages.

  1. In the app, go to Translations.
  2. Pick the language to translate — source text (your shop’s primary language) is shown next to your translation.
  3. Open the tab for the texts you want to translate and fill in the translations.
  4. A live Preview on the side shows the product page and collection card with your translated texts as you type.
  5. Click Save on the save bar.

The page tracks unsaved changes per language and warns you which languages still have edits waiting before you leave.

Instead of typing every string by hand, click Translate with AI for a language:

  • Translation runs in the background — leave the page and keep working; results appear when done.
  • Filled fields are marked so you can review and adjust them.
  • Items that couldn’t be translated automatically are listed so you can finish them by hand.

AI translation uses a monthly token allowance shown on the page; it resets on the 1st of each month. If the page says AI translation is not configured, contact us via the Feedback page and we’ll enable it for your store.
