Customize the Restock Email

The Email Template settings control the restock email that Qivra sends to subscribers when a product becomes available again. You can choose a preset, customize the sender and subject, edit the body, upload a logo, configure the call-to-action buttons, and send a test email - all with a live preview.

  1. Open the Qivra PreOrder admin and go to Back-in-Stock.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Find the Email Template card and click Configure.

The layout is split: the form is on the left and a live HTML preview is on the right.

At the top of the form, use the Enabled switch to turn restock emails on or off.

  • On - Qivra sends restock emails automatically when products are restocked.
  • Off - No emails are sent, even if subscribers are waiting. The subscriber list still records sign-ups.

Keep this on for normal use. Turn it off only if you need to pause notifications temporarily.

Choose what appears at the top of the email:

  • Shop name - The store name is rendered as bold text. Simple and reliable in every email client.
  • Logo - Upload a PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP image to display at the top of the email. Use Change to replace it or Remove to delete it.

Logos look more branded but render at the mercy of the email client. If deliverability is a priority, use the shop name header.

The Preset section lets you apply a complete set of defaults for subject, body, and layout. Click a preset tile to load it; the form fields and preview update immediately. You can still fine-tune any field after applying a preset.

FieldPurpose
From nameThe name that appears next to the sender address in the shopper’s inbox.
Reply toThe address that receives replies if a shopper hits “reply”.
SubjectThe email subject line. Supports template variables (see below).
FieldPurpose
Email headingThe big headline inside the email body.
Email descriptionA paragraph that explains the product is back in stock.
Show product priceToggle whether to display the product price in the product card.

Both the heading and description support template variables so the copy can reference the shopper and the product by name.

You can use these placeholders in the subject, heading, and description:

VariableReplaced with
{{customer_name}}The subscriber’s name when available.
{{product_name}}The restocked product title.
{{variant_name}}The variant title (color, size, etc.).
{{shop_name}}Your shop name.
{{stock_date}}The date the product was restocked.
{{price}}The product price (when “Show product price” is enabled).

Example subject: Good news, {{product_name}} is back in stock!

The restock email includes two configurable buttons in the product card:

  • Add to Cart button - A primary button that deep-links the shopper to the cart with the variant preloaded.
  • View Item button - A secondary outline button that links to the product page.

For each button you can set:

  • Button text
  • Background color
  • Text color
  • Font size
  • Border radius

The Add to Cart button is rendered as a solid button and the View Item button is rendered as an outline button using the same colors.

The Test email section at the bottom lets you preview the actual delivery:

  1. Enter the recipient address in the Test email to field.
  2. Click Send test email.

The email is generated with sample data (a mock product, customer name, and price) so you can confirm how it looks in a real inbox.

Click Save at the bottom of the modal. Changes only take effect after saving.
