Welcome to Qivra PreOrder, the easiest way to sell products before they are in stock. Whether you are launching a new product, running a limited drop, or managing backorders, Qivra PreOrder helps you capture sales early and keep customers informed.
What You Can Do With Qivra PreOrder

🚀 Quick Start: 5 Steps to Launch Your First Pre-Order
Section titled “🚀 Quick Start: 5 Steps to Launch Your First Pre-Order”Step 1: Install and Open the App
Section titled “Step 1: Install and Open the App”- Go to the Shopify App Store
- Search for “Qivra PreOrder”
- Click Install and approve the app permissions
- Open Qivra PreOrder from your Shopify admin dashboard

Step 2: Create Your First Offer
Section titled “Step 2: Create Your First Offer”- Click Create Offer on the home page or go to Offers > Create Offer
- Enter a name for your pre-order campaign (e.g., “Summer Collection Pre-Order”)
- Click Continue

Step 3: Configure Basic Settings
Section titled “Step 3: Configure Basic Settings”Choose Payment Type:
- Full Payment: Customer pays 100% upfront (simplest option)
- Partial Payment: Customer pays a deposit now, remaining balance later
- Combined: Offer both full payment and deposit options
- Pay Nothing: Authorization only (Premium feature, coming soon)
Add Products:
- Click Add Products
- Search and select products from your Shopify catalog
- Choose specific variants or all variants
- Click Add

Step 4: Enable App Embed (Critical Step)
Section titled “Step 4: Enable App Embed (Critical Step)”For pre-order badges and buttons to appear on your storefront:
- Open your Shopify Theme Editor
- Go to App embeds in the sidebar
- Enable Qivra PreOrder
- Click Save
Time: 2 minutes
⚠️ Don’t skip this step – Without enabling the app embed, pre-order badges and buttons won’t appear on your storefront.
Step 5: Activate and Test
Section titled “Step 5: Activate and Test”- Click Activate to make your offer live
- Visit your storefront to see the pre-order badge and button
- Test placing a pre-order to ensure everything works

- App installed from Shopify App Store
- First offer created
- Payment type configured
- Products added to the offer
- App embed enabled in theme
- Offer activated
- Tested on storefront
Common First-Time Questions
Section titled “Common First-Time Questions”Do I need to configure display settings?
Section titled “Do I need to configure display settings?”Not necessarily! Qivra PreOrder comes with default badge and button settings that work with most themes. You can customize them later if needed.
What if I don’t have products ready?
Section titled “What if I don’t have products ready?”You can create a draft offer first and add products later. Your offer won’t appear on the storefront until you activate it.
Can I use pre-orders with my existing products?
Section titled “Can I use pre-orders with my existing products?”Yes! You can add any existing products from your Shopify catalog to a pre-order campaign. Products can be in multiple offers as long as only one is active at a time.
When will customers be charged for their pre-order?
Section titled “When will customers be charged for their pre-order?”It depends on your payment type:
- Full Payment: Charged immediately at checkout
- Partial Payment: Deposit charged now, remaining balance charged based on your trigger settings
- Pay Nothing: Charged when you capture or the trigger fires
What happens when I run out of inventory?
Section titled “What happens when I run out of inventory?”You can configure inventory modes to automatically pause pre-orders when products are back in stock, or continue accepting pre-orders indefinitely.
