Back-in-Stock Notifications
Back-in-stock notifications let customers subscribe to alerts for out-of-stock products. When inventory is replenished, subscribers automatically receive an email notification.
Note: Back-in-stock notifications require the Premium plan.
How It Works
Section titled âHow It Worksâ- When a product is out of stock and in an active pre-order offer, a âNotify Meâ button appears on the product page
- Customers click the button and enter their email address
- When the product is restocked (inventory webhook fires), subscribers receive an email
- Subscribers can click through to purchase the product
Enabling Back-in-Stock
Section titled âEnabling Back-in-StockâBack-in-stock is automatically available for products in active offers with the Allow when out of stock inventory mode.
No additional configuration is needed. The âNotify Meâ button appears automatically when:
- The offer is active
- The inventory mode is âAllow when out of stockâ
- The product variant is out of stock
Email Configuration
Section titled âEmail ConfigurationâBack-in-stock emails are sent through your configured email provider. Make sure you have:
- An email provider set up in Settings > Email (SMTP)
- Or the default email service configured

Subscriber Management
Section titled âSubscriber ManagementâSubscribers are tracked per product variant:

Subscriber Status
Section titled âSubscriber Statusâ- Pending: Waiting for the product to be restocked
- Sent: Notification email sent successfully
- Failed: Email delivery failed
Customer Experience
Section titled âCustomer ExperienceâSubscribing
Section titled âSubscribingâ- Customer visits an out-of-stock product page
- Sees the âNotify Meâ button (instead of or alongside the pre-order button)
- Clicks the button and enters their email
- Receives a confirmation that they will be notified
Receiving Notification
Section titled âReceiving Notificationâ- When the product is restocked, the email is sent automatically
- Email includes a link to the product page
- Customer clicks through and purchases
Unsubscribing
Section titled âUnsubscribingâCustomers can unsubscribe from the notification email. They will not receive duplicate alerts for the same product.
